Do you know, the daily TV shows we watch cost us just a few bucks in the form of cable charges. You can’t make a guess about how much are lucrative for show producers, though about movies everybody knows. We all know that TV actors and producers have a high standard life style and they enjoy all the luxuries of the Hollywood. But can you believe that a show which has ended up a year back and its still paying a heavy amount to the show people. The latest example is ‘Sopranos’.

When I got to know about it I did took a long pause and then reacted. The news gave me the real shock that over 60 items from the iconic HBO TV show sold at the “Pop Culture” auction at the New York auction landmark, including 25 original Tony Soprano pieces worn by actor James Gandolfini. Guess what was the top seller in the auction? A bloody top, shirt and pants worn by Tony at the beginning of season six, when he’s shot by his demented Uncle Junior. It sold for $35,000. Among others was the Tony White’s bathrobe with an embroidered “S” from the pilot episode sold for a hefty $11,000, as did the blue shirt he wears in the opening credits.
Don’t get jealous of it because the whole money earned buy the auction sale will go for charity to the organization named ‘Wounded warrior project’, which aids the injured soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At last, one TV show has worked for the good cause and beyond just entertaining people. I was more surprised with the news because I never knew that the show about a don and his homely life would have made people this crazy that they can spend huge amount of money for blood stained clothes. What will they do with that? This is their head ache; I am just enjoying spreading the word about it. You also enjoy sharing it with your friends.

The Sopranos throws light on the life of Tony Soprano, a North Jersey mob boss and self described ‘Waste management Consultant’. Tony’s wife, oCarmela is a duteous but unhappy wife. Tony Sopranos’ family includes, a listless teenage son, Anthony Jr., a college age daughter named Meadow, a mean spirited mother, Livia Soprano who refuses to move to a retirement complex.

Tony is weighed down by the travails of his family. Tony Soprano’s too ambitious uncle Junior Soprano, jealous of Tony’s rise to the top and makes a plan to kill Tony Soprano. Tony has his own fears of death and loss of family. Tony begins to find a therapist because he is stricken by panic attacks.
Tony Soprano seeks psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Melfi’s help after blacking out and he must keep his therapy a secret from the rest of Mob. In therapy, Tony must come to terms with his father’s example, his mother’s manipulations, and his own fears of death and loss of family

The supporting cast includes Paulie Walnuts, a detective Vin Makazian, a capo Jackie Aprile, Jackie’s brother Richie Aprile, Tony’s sister Janice, etc. Watch it online now !
