Getting yourself acquainted with the usual tittle-tattle is something everyone is fond of, for it is the wont that comes so very naturally!

But Edie Falco, it seems, does not believe in thriving on such frivolities. Rather, she settles her faith in taking solid steps towards initiatives that are concrete and have substantial meaning attached to them.
Now, that is something evident even in her on-screen portrayal of Carmela Soprano’s part, because if you tune in to The Sopranos episodes, you can’t help but sympathize with the lady.
Carmela Soprano (Edie Falco) is one character, who would undoubtedly emerge as the feminist’s sweetheart.
Jokes apart, because the intention was to bring forth the frailties, which the woman encounters, as she struggles to keep the institution of marriage intact with her hubby Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) the Mafiosi and a man caught up in affairs with several femme fatale.
Now, Edie has agreed to endeavor something that’s kind of her due, and that effort is aimed to mark the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 incident.
9/11 was that black day in the history of mankind, when not just 3000 people and 16 hijackers lost their lives, but the entire world felt tremors so palpable, that the world feels it to date.
A slew of actors have joined hands, to voice the stories of men and women who went through the tough time, so that they reach out to hundreds and thousands and they too get to understand the frailties of time.
Our beloved Edie Falco is one such name and there’s this immense feeling of pride dawning upon me, as I come to know of her name, being included in the cast that would be at the helm of affairs of this particular story recital.
So, while Carmela Soprano might have confined herself within a certain cocoon, only to save her family from falling apart, the real-life Edie Falco believes in going out of her way for a cause that has a genuine reason and substance adhering to it!
